Biography
Karl Nicolaï Meesters (Brussels, October 7, 1979) is a Belgian television producer, concert organizer, former life and career coach for top athletes and the visually impaired, and a Flemish media personality .
At the age of 16, Karl Meesters was diagnosed with progressive cone-rod dystrophy, a hereditary retinal disorder that leads to complete blindness due to a gene mutation on his mother's side. He could see perfectly until he was eighteen, but after that, his vision gradually deteriorated.
Career
He worked for Open VLD member Karel De Gucht when the latter was Minister of Foreign Affairs, and for nearly ten years at Adecco and the sports federations IOC and IPC, he guided Olympic and Paralympic athletes in building a career after their sports careers. At Vincent Kompany's social football club BX Brussels, he prepared young footballers for life in the labor market.
Nothing to see
Through his non-profit organization rien à voir, he organizes music concerts with an emphasis on sound quality, with the aim of raising awareness about blindness and supporting medical research into visual disorders.

In 2023, Meesters traveled the world as a kind of blind tour guide with well-known Flemish figures from the music world for "sound journeys". The first series of 6 episodes was broadcast on VRT1 starting May 2, 2024, and in December 2024, the program won the "Golden Rose" in London in the "factual entertainment" category.
Health issues
In 2021, he was diagnosed with an extremely rare soft tissue tumor. It was a rare sarcoma measuring 9 by 7 by 6 centimeters in his groin — a type of tumor the specialist had seen only twice in 15 years, with a risk of paralysis of his left leg. Fortunately, he recovered well.
Recent activities
In 2025, as a visually impaired person, he participated in the program "Dancing with the Stars" on VTM, with Margot Weeda as his dance partner, and they reached the quarter-finals.
