Ten years after his first single, Metejoor is bringing his greatest hits to the AFAS Dome in Antwerp for an anniversary show, accompanied by his regular live band.
Exactly ten years after his debut single “Ik Hou Van Jou” was released, Metejoor will take the stage again at the AFAS Dome on Wednesday, May 5, 2027. After four previous performances, he returns to the country’s largest concert venue for a special anniversary show. Together with his regular live band, he will present a retrospective of ten years of music and the biggest hits of his career.
Biography
For the past few years, Joris Van Rossem has become an integral part of the Flemish and Dutch music scene. With a dozen Mia’s, four sold-out sports arenas, and tens of thousands of tickets sold for his indoor shows under his belt, this heartthrob of music-loving Flanders—both young and old—is ready to take the stage in 2027 with his live band, performing his biggest hits such as “Nachtregen,” “Niet Nodig,” “Wat Wil je Van Mij,” “1 op een miljoen,” “Dit is Wat Mijn Mama Zei,” “Eigen Schuld,” “Rendez-vous,” and many, many more.

The story behind Metejoor
Who is Metejoor? Metejoor began his journey to fame as a sports and movement coach in 2016. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he performed spontaneously on a local stage in Vosselaar with his sister Lisa. This performance proved to be a turning point, as its success and his participation in events like the Night of Vosselaar launched his musical career.
Under the stage name Metejoor, he released hits like "Ik hou van jou", quickly becoming a well-known name in the Flemish music scene. With his unique voice and infectious music, Metejoor reached a broad audience and achieved success after success.
His dedication to his musical passion ultimately led to being awarded three Music Industry Awards (MIAs) and the decision to give up his previous career to focus entirely on his musical journey. With performances on various stages and a growing fanbase, Metejoor has become a true phenomenon in the Flemish music world, and his future looks very promising.
