An explosive fusion of talent and musical creativity

Founded in 2019, TWO DOTS is a Belgian duo consisting of Gwenn Nicolay and Nico d'Avell, two musicians who met on the Brussels music scene. With their roots in local jam sessions, they quickly discovered a creative chemistry that led to this unique project. Their innovative approach, combining classical instruments with modern technology such as loop stations and synthesizers, enables them to deliver compelling and hyper-dynamic live performances.

Gwenn Nicolay is a guitarist, singer, sound engineer, and composer with a charismatic voice. Hailing from Brussels, he brings great emotional depth and a strong stage presence to every show. At his side is Nico d'Avell, multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, composer, and producer, who adds a rich rhythmic and melodic layer thanks to his mastery of drums and keyboards. Raised in a musical family, Nico honed his skills from an early age, giving the duo a technical, sonic, and subtle dimension. Their musical and friendly symbiosis forms the core of TWO DOTS' identity.

Their musical adventure began with the idea of combining their respective talents through technology to create intense live performances. Using tools such as Ableton Live and MIDI and LOOPSTATION pedals, they managed to push the boundaries of their creativity while remaining true to a simple philosophy: “Work hard without taking yourself too seriously.” This approach creates a festive and energetic atmosphere at every concert, where the audience cannot stand still and is automatically drawn in by their infectious vibe.

TWO DOTS has now built up a solid reputation on the Belgian music scene thanks to their compelling performances, in which the strong bond between Gwenn and Nico is clearly palpable. Their presence at numerous festivals, events, and all over Belgium this year testifies to their urge to share their musical passion with an ever-growing audience.
